Hey, that wasn’t in the syllabus!
We got an unplanned lesson at our recent solid fuel-burning appliance fires seminar. During a wood-burning stove demonstration, cellulose insulation by a chimney started smoking. Still, our investigator could scoop it with his bare hands to place in plastic bins outside. Nothing happened for hours. The next morning, though, one bin was melted in several places.
