Figure 1. Rudy Kissmann, of the Manchester (Connecticut) Fire Rescue EMS, sent us this photo of a candle jar burning a hole in a table after someone burned it continuously (24-7, he said) after buying it.
Figure 2. At first glance, it appeared accelerant might have been around this dresser, but, in reality, a burning taper candle fell off the top of it, igniting material on the floor at the base of the piece of furniture. |
