Figure 1. This scene may look like an ordinary kitchen fire, but the gallon can of Coleman fuel on the counter, coupled with the two-element hotplate (arrows) are clues to look for further evidence of methamphetamine production.

Figure 2. In addition to sealing doors and windows, meth operators may attempt to control odors with large amounts of air neutralizer. This gallon container is an indication to investigators to search for more evidence and take extra caution in their investigation.
