WebQ/A: Do you have any sample lab exam protocols to share?

Deadline is Friday, December 3, 2004

Fire Findings is publishing an article about laboratory examination protocols and part of our research includes contacting our Web site browsers to share a bit of their expertise.

As more cases end up in litigation, fire investigators are called on to prepare protocols, typically for opposing parties to provide their experts the opportunity to see what will take place during an exam.

We at Fire Findings are interested in seeing if there is continuity between the different lab exam protocols. Please take a few minutes to answer a few questions about protocols and provide us with a sample protocol.

Send your thoughts by December 3, 2004 to be included in our informal survey.

  1. What types of circumstances require you to prepare a protocol?

  2. Do you find yourself preparing protocols for certain types of products? If so, what would they be?

  3. What type of client is more apt to request a protocol?

If you have a sample copy of a protocol, please e-mail it to info@firefindings.com or fax it to Jack Sanderson, Editor, at (269) 983-7805 along with your name, affiliation and telephone number.
