Welcome to Fire Findings!
In the Spring issue of Fire Findings
Nearly every structure that sustains a fire has electrical service to it, so you must consider electrical energy as a potential ignition source in nearly all cases. But, did you know fuses don’t protect the electric service drop outdoors? Or the electric meter base or the wiring that extends from the meter to the electrical panelboard indoors?
Take a look at the rest of the Spring 2008 issue …

Register early for “Investigation of Appliance Fires”
Now in its 17th year, the appliance fires seminar has become “must training” for many public agencies and private firms. The G&E class is an in-the-lab look at failures and fires caused by gas and electric appliances and distribution systems. Dozens of informative demonstrations, too. Held at our laboratory November 4-7, 2008, with long-time instructors, Jack Sanderson and James Finneran.
